50 miles west of Vienna on the Danube River, the Czerny family has worked the land of the Wimmer-Czerny winery for over 250 years. The family embraces biodynamic practices and the winery has been certified organic since 2003. A commitment to minimal intervention in the vineyards and in the cellar is the practice: no additives are ever used, only natural yeasts are employed, filtering is kept to a minimum, and the wines are left in contact with the lees for long periods in order to maintain the identity and the personality of the wines.
Experience these organic selections of Austrian wine presented by our very own sommelier JJ Cutaia, paired with the culinary prowess of Chef Dan Martello and team. Four courses from the Good Luck kitchen will accompany wines such as old vine Grüner Veltiner, Rotes Veltliner, and Pet-Nat that fully express the potential of the Wagram region.
